Brent Woodall & Natchez Trace: Home
CHECK OUT NEWS FOR NTB NEW HAPPENINGS!!
We heard from Donna Gassie over on the guest book page. She is a Bayou friend who actually took the photo Bayou Daze (see photo above.) That's Brent in his Cherry Smash rocker days! We had the photo but did not have the photographers name. (After 30 + years memories dull) It is our pleasure to give Donna Gassee credit for this great shot. She's still at it. Go to fotoschmoto.blogspot.com to see her work! Thanks Donna!
Speaking of Cherry Smash, We are working on a re-mix, re-master of live cuts from the historic Bayou Daze that will soon be available.
And The mix and mastering is nearly complete on the "Got Em Live" Natchez Trace CD featuring live cuts from our shows with Trisha Yearwood, Mark Chesnut, Aaron Tippen, Joe Diffee and others. It sounds real good y'all.
And for those fans of Rivers Edge we are working to also re-release some of that music to the world. All music from brentwoodallmusic.com will be available via digital sites (iTunes, Sony etc.)
Stay tuned. It's on it's way!
JULY 12
Thanks to Winchester, VA Sheriff Lenny Millholland, Jim Shipp and the Winchester Royals for the hospitality!
Just a quick update on happenings.
While it looks as if we are not working we are.
Brent has been in the studio producing a version of Oh Shenandoah for a film he is involved with. The Stevens Family Bluegrass Band laid down the music tracks for the initial start of the project. Brent cut his vocals and has been working and re-working with the production and the Stevens Family helped the add backing vocals. Then the Frederick County Middle School Choir was added to the mix under the direction of Ms. Joanna Claycomb.
Now it's time to add NATCHEZ TRACE to the mix. They will add the electric magic to the project. Tim will add an electric PRS lead and Ron will add an acoustic ride to the mix.
This will be very cool.
While Tim oversees the rebuild on his house, RON BRENT and MIKE have been putting a cover band together to work on some of Ron's special shows. The three piece band has Ron on guitar and vocals, Mike on Keys and vocals and Brent on drums and vocals. The name?
King Willy and the Shadows. The music?
Classic soul, R&B, Blue eyed soul and rock.
Brent is also producing a demo for Nashville for the Stevens Family and a CD for Ryan Thompson, a great new talent.
So that;s what 's happening!
Look for Natchez Trace news coming soon!
