This is a song dedicated to the underground railroad from the US Civil War. Those slaves who risked their lives to achieve freedom at any cost got help from angels like Sarah Brown!
It's haunting...
Brent actually did not want to sing this song when we completed it. The melody was so different and challanging for me, but Ray insisted I could do it. So glad he did!
Brent played kind of "bluegrass drums" on this as well using brushes in a military type cadence.. different
